Terrell Owens received an outpouring of support and messages on social media Sunday after posting photos on Instagram of a car accident he was in a day earlier. The former 49ers wide receiver wrote that he was thankful he wasn’t injured in the horrific crash and posted photos of damaged cars in addition to a photo of himself kneeling in prayer.”I was on my way home but this is…
HOW MY DAY ENDED YESTERDAY and… HOW MY DAY STARTED TODAY,” Owens wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for injuries, health and the chance to see another day. God is good.
It is unclear which of the three cars in the photo was Owens, but two of them appear to be badly damaged.”Trust me, I’m so thankful because it could be worse than it looks,” Owens wrote on his Instagram story on Sunday.
Owens played with the 49ers from 1996-2003 and was named to four Pro Bowls and three All-Professional first teams with San Francisco. He had 592 catches, 8,572 yards and 81 touchdowns with the 49ers, his highest totals with one team. Owens ranks in the top 10 in the NFL in several career statistical categories and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018. It’s good to see that Owens came out of this incident unscathed..
