Kenny Clark Earns Pro Bowl Nod, Heading to Florida for Third Appearance
The Green Bay Packers may have been eliminated from the playoffs over a week ago, but now they have something to smile about. Defensive end Kenny Clark is headed to Florida to participate in the Pro Bowl, Zach Kruse of Packers Wire reports. Clark, a former UCLA Bruin, had 7.5 sacks and 44 tackles (22 solo and 22 assists), 16 quarterback hits, nine sacks, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles during the regular season.
In two postseason games, the 28-year-old had seven combined tackles (four solo and three passed) and two quarterback hits. This year marks Clarkand’s third Pro Bowl appearance. The 6-foot-3, 314-pound lineman has also been optioned for the 2019 and 2021 seasons. Clark is currently filling in for Javon Hargrave, who will miss the San Francisco 49ers’ upcoming Super Bowl. Despite a mid-season turnaround and the birth of the playoffs, no member of the Packers was drafted in the original Pro.
