Lamar Jackson Shines in Ravens’ Dominant Win Over 49ers

Lamar Jackson had an incredible performance for the Baltimore Ravensand#039; A 33-19 win against the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas Day drew an MVP chant after the game. The matchup between the Ravens and 49ers was billed as a matchup between two of the best teams in the NFL, and Baltimore made an impressive statement with a dominant win against a very talented 49ers team.

Lamar Jackson was 23-of-35 passing for 252 yards and two touchdowns and added 45 yards on seven attempts. As always, he was the Ravens’ best player on the field. With Brock Purdy’s poor game for the 49ers, Jackson could be the MVP front-runner for Monday’s game.

There’s an argument that a player like Tyreek Hill would put up big numbers as a wide receiver, but the MVP award usually goes to a quarterback, so Jackson has the edge. The Ravens went 12-3 on the season and now own the best record in the NFL. They will likely have to beat the Miami Dolphins this coming weekend to secure the top seed in the AFC. They sure can, especially at home.

Jackson could seal his MVP case with a good game against the Dolphins and seal the #1 seed in the AFC. Now under a long contract, the Ravens completely rebuilt Jackson. It will pay dividends, and Baltimore could be a Super Bowl contender as a result.
