
Ravens’ Christmas Victory Delights Proline Players
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens brought Christmas cheer to Proline players. Jackson threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns rushing seven times for 45 yards in Baltimore’s 33-19 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas Day.
The competition was between two of the best equipment in the NFL. Ontario Gaming and Lottery Corp. according to the data, 51 percent of bettors had Baltimore winning, while the Ravens were +4.5 points in only 43 percent. But a whopping 72 percent had more than 47.5 points overall. Also on Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders stunned the Kansas City Chiefs 20-14. 43% of customers had +10.5 points in Las Vegas, but only 15% of customers had the Raiders win the game.
And only 15 percent took the total below 41.5 points. On Saturday, the Buffalo Bills kept their playoff hopes alive with a 24-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. 85% of customers had Buffalo win the game, but only 13% had the Chargers +11.5 points and 77% had them over 44.5 points. The next day, the Miami Dolphins punched their playoff ticket with a 22-20 home victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Overall, 45 percent of customers picked Miami to win, but 56 percent took the Cowboys +2.5 points and only 19 percent picked under 50.5 points. The Baltimore-San Francisco race was the highlight of the week.
Four other NFL games rounded out the top five (Las Vegas/Kansas City; Buffalo/LA Chargers; New Orleans Saints/LA Rams; and New York Giants/Philadelphia Eagles). Also on Christmas Day, Luka Doncic scored 50 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 128-114 victory over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. Only 24 percent of bettors picked Dallas to win, while 35 percent gave the Mavericks +4.5 points. Anthony Davis scored 40 points, but the Boston Celtics still beat the Los Angeles Lakers 126-115. 73 percent of bettors picked Boston to win, while 63 percent had the Celtics -4.5.
Meanwhile in Sweden, Canada opened the World Junior Hockey Tournament with a 5-2 win over Finland on Tuesday. The Canadians are chasing their third straight gold medal. 92 percent of customers chose Canada as the winner. Even more (96 percent) scored -1.5 goals against Canada, while 98 percent scored more than 5.5 goals overall.
A digital customer won $1,753 on a $50 bet on a six-pick NFL game, while the retailer won $2,529 on a $3 bet on NCAA, NBA and NFL contests.
