Sad News : We Love Him…Get Well Soon. Boston Celtics Key Player Currently Sick In The Hospital Bed Now..Fighting For His Life…

BOSTON – Jayson Tatum had 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics to a 119-116 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night in a matchup of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Jaylen Brown had 26 points and eight assists for Boston, which improved to an NBA-best record of 12-3. Kristaps Porzingis added 21 and Derrick White 13 points.

The Celtics opened up a 21-point lead in the first half and never trailed. They held a double-digit lead until the Bucks mounted a late charge in the final two minutes to cut it to 114-111 before Tatum hit three free throws in the final 21.2 seconds. Brook Lopez led Milwaukee (10-5) with 28 points. Damian Lillard had 27 points, five rebounds and five assists, but Giannis Antetokounmpo was limited to 21 points after scoring at least 40 points in his last two games. The Bucks, who scored 130 or more points in their last three games, had their five-game winning streak snapped.

Tatum started despite being considered questionable after scoring a season-high 45 points in overtime in Charlotte’s last game. The Celtics led 67-53 at halftime after shooting 58.1 percent, including 12-of-23 from 3-point range. They jumped out on a 10-0 run and pushed the lead to 21-8 before opening a 54-33 run midway through the second quarter on a 3-pointer by Brown.

Antetokounmpo was pulled by first-year coach Adrian Griffin after a dunk violation. The two appeared to have words as the star leaned against the scoreboard opposite the court, where he remained before signing in for the next game review.

The teams made some of the biggest additions in the offseason as they strived for supremacy in the East. In late June, the Celtics acquired Porzingis in a three-team blockbuster deal that sent one of their longtime leaders, Marcus Smart, to Memphis.

The Bucks later added Lillard on September 27, but after he requested a trade from Portland. Milwaukee traded Jrue Holiday for it, and the Celtics acquired him from the Trail Blazers four days later. Those players were involved immediately, too, when Holiday forced Lillard to defend on Milwaukee and the first possession, and Porzingis objected to Antetokounmpo’s shot that went from behind on his first basket.
